Wave books, matched to the bank.
Invoices, bills and receipts matched to what really moved through your account, e-Transfers included.
What comes in from Wave
- Invoices
Customer, number, amount with sales tax and whether Wave shows it paid.
- Bills and receipts
What you owe suppliers and what you spent, with the category you chose.
- Bank transactions
The transactions Wave holds for your account, from its connection or an uploaded statement.
Why it won’t match on its own
Paid in Wave, not at the bank
An invoice marked paid by hand may have no deposit behind it, or the wrong one.
e-Transfers name the sender
Small customers pay by e-Transfer, and the bank line shows a person’s name, not the invoice.
Duplicates creep in
An imported statement and a connected account can bring the same transaction in twice.
One rule, in plain words
Match Wave invoices to TD e-Transfer deposits by amount, the sender like the customer, within ten days.
amount = deposit, sender ≈ customer, within 10 days266 matched
An invoice marked paid with no deposit behind it stays open, so the books only show what the bank does.
What Numerics works out
Numerics reads the open records the matching leaves, so “paid” in the books and paid at the bank can be told apart.
You go run your business.
Bring a month of Wave records to the call. You’ll see them matched before it ends.
